About Shawn Gabel
Shawn grew up on a farm near Melville, Saskatchewan and moved to Vancouver in 2001. In Vancouver, he built a career in the communications technology and construction industries, immersed himself in the local music scene, and earned a degree in Political Science from Simon Fraser University in 2010.
In 2015, Shawn went on to complete his Law degree at the University of Victoria, where he participated in the co-operative education program and held legal positions with the BC Ministry of Justice – Civil Policy and Legislation Office, the Capital Regional District, and the Office of the Ombudsperson.
